Learning to ride is never easy but at Oxbow we make sure it is fun, memorable, and as safe as possible.

Our lesson horses are well cared for and are selected for their patient dispositions and suitability for many types of riders.

We primarily offer balance seat lessons using a western saddle for safety.  English lessons and more serious sport riding (pole bending, endurance, dressage, hunter/jumper and more) is available for students with previous experience. We have saddles for each discipline designed to fit both the horse and student comfortably.

Lessons are available for beginner through advanced riders.

Beginning students start out on a long line called a lunge line to learn basic position, balance and control on a moving horse. Riders progress to ride independently with confidence.
